Installing centerboard

This is one area that I took some liberties with the blueprints, and went with a much heavier centerboard – it is 1 inch thick steel, and weighs about 270 lbs. (The design calls for a similarly shaped centerboard, that weighs only 54 lds).  it is a gamble, but I hope it will work out and give me a little bit stiffer ride. From what I read about this boat design, it tends to be a little tender and get overpowered with moderate winds, so I thought I got it successfully installed with my father's help.
